Owl Post

I don't know if this is of any interest to anyone, but my mum told 
me today that it is now possible to send 'owl post'. (This is the 
same mum that is anti-Harry Potter. Go figure!)

It's a service being offered by our local post office, but you don't 
have to be local to use it. Apparently, the idea is to encourage 
young children to write real letters (and thereby improving their 
sales I would guess!).

It costs £10, but there are other things available. The web site 
says 'Your letters may be sent to your friends or yourself via the 
Owl Post Office each letter will receive a special Owl Post 
Cancellation.'
