Twenty-six years ago ... no, it was only twenty-five ... I had a
co-worker who liked to make pizzas (with everything) at home (from
scratch) and bring them to share at lunchtime. He had observed that
almost all people remove the anchovies, so he kneaded the anchovies
into the dough of the crust so that people couldn't avoid them.
