Free Magic Wand

But how do you know that the wand they send you is your wand?  Surely 
you'd have to try it out first.  You could end up with any old piece 
of bark with an old sow's tail in it, when really you were destined 
for a 12" wand of swishy willow with the hair from the head of a 
unicorn.  I know the wand choses the wizard, but that is ridiculous.  
The wand and the wizard/witch must meet to see if they are 
compatible...jeez, do you guys know nothing?
