:-) I like biting off their heads.

I thought it was late 80s or early 90s and couldn't make up my mind.
However, we're both right:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088528/ (1985-1991)

Good Lord, the show lasted *that* long?

Ditto here. Saturday morning cartoons were considered a 'highlight' for a
kid.

Heh, I'm reminded of watching the Cartoon Network for some POA promos and
wondering how kids can find some of the new cartoons entertaining, and
then I get to see some of my past 'favorites' (e.g. Smurfs, Snorks**,
Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake - before 'girl power' and when she had
a *skirt*, and more) and wonder why I used to watch them.

**Speaking of Snorks, I'm reminded of fic 'sporking'. Y'know, to be
bluntly honest, one of the gals who advocated any sporking being cruel
tends to write 'fan-girly' type fic and is very sensitive to any sort of
criticism.

As for my own opinions on sporking, when you write Sirius Black as a
*pregnant* *elf* who names his kids after a Japanese anime series, then
you should be prepared for sporking. Consider it the price for 'freedom
of expression' because this freedom goes both ways.
