Well, not far from the truth, but it's not saying much.  I don't 
know what the response of the American media has been, but in 
Britain the newspaper market is ruthlessly competitive and any 
newspaper that did not give its readers what they want would not 
survive long.  We must therefore presume, in default of evidence to 
the contrary, that the media frenzy was more or less what the public 
wants, and is prepared to pay for.

I trust, Steve, that *you* did not compromise yourself by paying for 
any kind of news service that gave prominence to this story.
