***Dizzy Elf shuffles into the room, bedecked in a tourist-souvenier 
teatowel covered with donkeys and a questionable drawing of the 
seafront (not only is the tide in, the sea is blue).  She's also 
wearing a wooly hat, scarves and mitts because it's frickin' cold 
outside!***

Greetings, fellow OTCers!  I am your new Birthday Elf, ready and 
eager to decorate the room, bake birthday goodies and drink...erm, 
*serve* fortified butterbeer.  Unfortunately flu and earaches and 
allsorts swept through Dizzy's house over the past few weeks (isn't 
winter fun?) and now that's she's down to only one child on 
antibiotics she can begin her duties, starting with belated wishes 
to all the January babies whose birthdays have already passed...

***unrolls a very long parchment and takes a deep breath***
