Seeking those yanked GOF pics? And first week at new job.

As usual, I'm behind on reading info and evidently the GOF calendar pics
of Krum, mermaid, golden egg, etc were yanked.
Does anyone have some private copies they could relay to me for personal
viewing?
Oh, and my first week at the new job... Guh. {tired expression}
Y'know, I'm willing to learn but there's no one to teach the skills I need
for the job and... failure really isn't an option for me because there are
over a dozen folk ready to take the job away (I've seen the applications
still coming in and they could squash me like an ant). So, first week on
the job and my reaction can be summed up: appalled.
It's like: Let me show you this task *once* and you're barely given time
to take notes and you're expected to know how to do it on software you've
never used before and to know where various digital and paper files are
(when you were shown very little). Plus, the tasks were shown out of
sequence by someone also learning the software.
I *know* I can learn the job but I'm not given the *time* to do so, and
the supervisor thinks the previous office gal trained me... {snort} Within
the three days I was supposed to be trained, which is a *very* short
timeframe to begin with, she was out taking several smoking breaks and
making numerous personal calls each day before she left. This ranks as
the most incomplete training experience I've had... before being basically
told 'here, have at it' and I'm left alone. The supervisor is even worse
at training.
After saying all that, the job itself isn't bad and neither is the working
environment, I was given a dollar more per hour than what I asked for, and
they knew what I had training in to start with... but I really have so
many obstacles to overcome.
Maybe it's just me but I'm used to someone showing me how a job is done
from start to finish, allowing me to take notes, and then overseeing how
well I do from the notes *before* leaving me alone.
