This is my new computer; it has all the keys in unexpected places,
different from both my old computer and my computer at work. I still
don't have my FILES and ADDRESS BOOK and BOOKMARKS -- Tim ordered an
external hard drive thingy from the Web (to house the hard drive from
the dead computer) but IT HASN'T EVEN SHIPPED YET!

Complete change of subject: does anyone know what that name means? I
looked it up and found that it's pronounced "Silly", which charms me,
but I was hoping it was somehow related to Scylla, the nymph/monster
across the channel from Charybdis. Incidentally, "Scylla" means "puppy".

But I meant that the masses didn't go insane; they just obeyed their
governments (many monarchical and the others run by elites).

(Btw I completely agree with Susiequsie's reply to your "hug" post.)

Yes, but even tho' the part of Snape will be perfectly cast, it WILL
NOT make up for having missed seeing ALAN RICKMAN chew the scenery in
the Shrieking Shack scene. I wish the current crew of actors could
make another film titled just "The Shrieking Shack" of just those two
(?) chapters, no need to explain that Sirius Black is a wanted
criminal or that Lupin and Snape are teachers or that Harry's parents
were killed -- just assume the audience knows that. But do feel free
to go into flashbacks while Lupin and Black are telling their stories.

Yes, her gown for the Yule Ball. Isn't that canonical?
