Other than rain and some wind gusts, currently nothing to worry about
for our area from Dennis, unless you're near a river known for
flooding.  Hm, actually, just a week or so ago, a tornado went through
Clearwater Beach area (ten minute drive from here).  You could tell
something wasn't right by the sky being such a dark grey to almost
black and seeing dust circling the lower sky.  For those not familiar,
we're approximately located at the "dip" of Florida where the base of
the weather guy's thumb and wrist is.

Seems transportation is currently more deadly than storms considering
there was a fatal car accident at an intersection of US Hwy 19 this
morning and I'm within seeing distance (3-4 minute walk) of the
intersection.  I was busy working (no jokes about 'for a change') and
could hear the extended slam/skid of the breaks (must've been going
50-60 mph) and then the crunch.  It's almost daily I hear an emergency
vehicle go through the area.
