So it will be available 9am local time in Sydney (I believe they are 9
hours ahead at this time of year, not 10), 2am in South Africa, but
local midnight in the UK, Ireland, and all parts of America.

What I don't understand though is that the Bloomsbury website said:
"Immediately after midnight, at 00.01am on Saturday 16th July JK Rowling
will read from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in the Great Hall at
Edinburgh Castle"

Edinburgh is 2 hours ahead of GMT so they are getting it two hours ahead of
the rest of us.
