What will you be doing?

My daughter and I will be sneaking out of a good-bye party for some 
friends to head 35 miles up the road to the nearest Barnes & Noble.  
(Even though we *could* have gone to the local Kroger grocery store at 
midnight, my 9-year-old daughter is dead set on going to B&N.)

So we'll have copy one in hand shortly after midnight, which I'll let 
her start reading in the car with the light on on the way home.  Then 
*I* will take the book & read a bit while I make her go to bed.

Unfortunately, I have a retreat to attend from 9am - 3pm on Saturday 
(who scheduled THAT, I want to know?!?) that I honestly cannot think of 
a way to get out of.  At least by the time I get home, we should have 
our Amazon copy, too, so I won't have to share.
