Eustace_Scrubb:
The Canadian print editions are indeed the British editions, though
published by Raincoast Books rather than Bloomsbury. The title of the
first book is _Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone_ in Canada;
it's "bogies" NOT "boogers" etc. They have the same covers as the
British editions. (I believe that Chapters/Indigo advertises the
"adult"-cover versions on their website these days, too, though I
won't swear to it.)

Just to confirm that [English] Canada is still torn between British
and US influences, I'm pretty sure that the audio versions are the
US-Jim Dale ones rather than the UK-Stephen Fry sets.

Cheers,

(who's not Canadian but has spent enough time in Canadian bookshops to
be certain on this point.)
