I am a Brissy girl (Auusie too!) I 'll be waiting outside the store
with my preorder voucher utterly intact until the magic momnt that the
staff allows the sea of anxious and excited fan to flow into the
specailly designated HPB aisle (Yes they are having one :D)to purchase
our copies of the book.
To get some quiet reading time I fear I may need to rug up my
munchkins and take a walk to the park for a windy morning of climbing
and bike riding, hopefully tiring them enough for a quietish afternoon
on the couch, but can I wait that long ? (Dread!)
Maybe I will send them out fishing with their father. :D

Yes absolutely Adi, contracts are signed for 9:01 pm (GMT Midnight)
and not a second beforehand. Go to the stores around opening time
(approx 8:30 - 8:45 for most stores in Aus) or before so you can nab a
good spot in the queue. Plenty of places here in Brissy have gotten
extra stock (above expected sales which are quite high) of HBP for the
big day so you probably won't have trouble getting a copy and in some
cases you could probably rock up about 11:30 and get your copy (I did
with OOtP) all depending on your own circumstances.
Places that will have extra large stocks are Target, Kmart and
Discount Chains, if you're running late bypass the bookstores they'll
sell out first.
Happy Happy HBP Eve Adi!!
