Yes, you are right that Voldy's mother is Merope.
When I said "Marvolo came from his mother".
I was meaning her side of the family.  I should 
have written more clearly.

Also, I did the math, if the dates of birth and death
are correct on Tom Sr.'s tomb stone, and Voldy
was 16 when he murdered his grandparents,
and father, then that would have made Tom Sr
12 years old at Voldy's birth.... Does anyone else
have a problem with that???
