Hi, nice to meet you. I don't know how fit I am to judge how suitable
things are for children, not having any of my own and no real
experience with kids...I'm mostly going by how I was at that age
(saying that, though, I saw Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns
when I was about eight and I coped fine, in fact I became completely
obssessed!) and what I would be comfortable with *if* I had
children. I think it all depends on the child in question, really,
what they can handle, and what their own parents think. Screening it
before hand is a good idea, probably something I'd do. :-)
And about Bale's accent, I met him in person at the London premiere
of BB (after nearly nine hours of waiting outside the Odeon in the
cold with no food, drink or bathroom breaks!) and when he spoke to me
he sounded pretty American then. From what I've red he's lived in
America for ten years. But he is English, though...watch "Empire Of
The Sun" - he's a kid there but has his own British accent in it.
That's another good movie, by the way.
Take care,
Charlie.
