Yeah, POA, IMHO was a near complete loss. It wasn't just the SET itself,
but a number of things. Purple and gold ties? I thought the Griffindor ties
were
scarlet and gold, not purple. The "dumb and dumber" humor of the fat lady
with the wine glass, the location of the fat lady's portrait, the castle
itself
(whats with this clock?), just to name a few things.
Lupid did come accross as I precived him though. Good job there. Buggart
scene
was great. Beyond that, It was the first time I had to stop myself from
leaving
the theater and demanding my money back. ONLY because it was a HP
film did I stop. Had it been anything else, I would have.

I just hate the way they are (not) following the book.
The basic story line is there, and of course the main actors.. beyond
that.. like you, I too am nervous about the GOF movie.. especally
since I, like many other fans, think it should be 2 movies, or one thats
at least as long as the first one.

LOTR movies set a new standard that WB is not interested in
maintaining. Too bad. Their loss (and the fans as well).
