SSSusan:
I think you're asking the right questions, Carol. *IF* I'm right
about that being a Pensieve and about the light representing an AK
(particularly one at GH), then WHO THE HECK'S memory is being prodded
and watched? Here's something I wrote over at main (125833):

>> I like this possibility, Meltowne -- that DD is either showing
Harry how to access his own memory *or* that DD "extracted" the memory
from Harry when he was a baby and stored it himself and is now going
to show it to him. Granted, Harry still has auditory memory of the
attack, but nothing visual. Maybe DD took it out & stored it so
Harry wouldn't have to grow up replaying it??<<

I'm actually leaning towards the second option -- that DD extracted
the memory somehow from Harry after the attack -- and that he's now
decided it's time Harry "got" to see it. I think it's one of
those "Dumbledore's the most powerful wizard alive" kind of thing
which would explain his being able to do this, rather than that it's
standard fare for a legilimens.

Siriusly Snapey Susan, wondering if she's the only one who NEVER
seems to be able to click on a Mugglenet link and have it show the
item it's supposed to show. (It's only with Mugglenet -- what's up
with that?)
