Guys who have been to jail will use that phrase also because they
aren't on the "straight and narrow".
The problem with calling "slash" and oblique stroke is ease of use.
It's much quicker to say I read Snupin Slash than saying I read
Snupin Oblique Stroke, or ask if someone is an Oblique Stroke fan.
Slash just says it all. Although I've learned to put fanfic in the
google bar when looking for slash stories. Guns & Roses, or Friday
The 13th Movies aren't my thing, even though Wes Craven is gay.
