I waited in my first pregnancy. My second one, on day 12 past my due 
date, I agreed to be induced - it just wasn't starting on its own. But I 
did manage those two without painkillers, so although I've heard people 
say that induction = epidural, in my case it didn't.

This go-round, I expect induction because last time, I went so fast, 
this time there's concern I wouldn't get to the hospital in time so 
hypnobirthing, here I come!
