Unbelievably space INEFFICIENT.
The font for the post titles/subject lines is not even a font I use.
I discovered there is a way to change it. I'm using Mozilla, but there
has to be an equivalent feature in Internet Explorer. Go to the font
selection area of your browse (in the Setup or Preferences), in
Mozilla there is a check box to prevent webpages from using a font
other than you ones you have selected. Uncheck this, and the subject
heading will return to their usual look.
Even with that change, there is an unbelievable amount of wasted space
on the screen.
Also, sorting with the newest at the top. I guess I can see why the
did it, they want the most recent posts at the top, BUT what I want at
or near the top is the place where I left off reading posts. So, I
would prefer oldest on the top.
I guess I could get used to it, but if they really want to make some
changes, instead of wasting their time and ours with cosmetic changes,
they could fix the crappy search engine the provide us.
Didn't they bother to test market this off line? Didn't the do any
usability studies? What kind of organization are these people running?
Blah!
