How to get HBP in Mexico this summer?

    I am wondering if anyone out there knows how good Amazon's 
delivery service really is . . . especially out of country (US).
    I will be spending the summer in Mexico, far south and not near 
Mexico City.  Although I will be in a capital city, I don't think I 
will be able to buy HBP when it comes out on July 16th.  Which is 
really disappointing for me, because not only am I just as anxious 
as everyone else to read it, I don't see myself having time to read 
much when I am back in the states.  However, I will have plenty of 
time to read when I am in Mexico (and I will definitely be in Mexico 
until the second week of August).
    I have written to Amazon and they have replied that they plan to 
deliver the books on July 16th, even out of the US.  However, my 
experience with regular mail and Federal Express to Mexico makes me 
doubtful.  The few things I have sent/received have averaged a wait 
of 3-4 weeks before delivery.
    I don't know if anyone has any experience or advise for me.  It 
looks like it will cost about $12 more for the delivery to Mexico, 
which I will happily pay if I can really read the book this summer!
