Jill chimes in:
Definitely take another one. It takes 10-14 days for pregnancy
hormones to even appear in your system, and sometimes longer for the
test to pick them up. If you are pregnant, the line should get
darker each time you take one. You might want to try a different
brand of test, too. I used "First Response" and got my first
indisputable positive after about 16 days.

Chancie:
Thanks to everyone who responded. I haven't taken a new test yet,
because I thought it would be smarter to let my body have time to
build up more hcg (if I am pregnant...). The suspense is killing me!
(And I didn't think anything could take my mind off of HBP...boy was
I wrong!) I've never been one to do well with waiting, but I suppose it's
better to wait awhile and have a more reliable answer and save the
money as well...
Also I defiantly wanted to tell everyone out there, PLEASE don't waste
your money on the EPT certianty test!!! After posting this I happened
to check out some of the ratings for this test and no less than 2/3 of
the posts I read had run into problems with them giving incorrect results,
(about 1/2 were false postives and supposedly its VERY rare to get a
false postitive) and getting many error messages. I did also find out that
my neighbor had the exact same problem with this test. She took it, and
it said "not pregnant" ejected the strip and saw 2 lines ... she was 6 weeks
pregnant at the time, so it is CLEARLY not reliable.
Also thanks for all the "good luck" wishes! My hubby swears I'm pregnant
again (my daughter will be 1 year old in May), and I told him if he said it
again I was going to slap him. It's not that I wouldn't love to have
another baby,
(I would eventually like to have 2 more) but this just isn't the timing I'd
have
hoped for. Hubby is in the Navy and if I am pregnant, the baby would be due
at about the same time that he's up for new orders, meaning we'll have to
move
and my daughter is hard enough to keep up after without dealing with
morning sickness and all the other fun stuff associated with pregnancy
(please note the sarcasm)!. But what ever the result I will give you and
update as soon as I know either way.
Thanks again for the feed back!
Chancie~who also took a First Response pregnancy test when she was
pregnant with her daughter and also recieved an indisputeable and
correct positive....
