On the 'me and name'. I thought the test was if 'I' would sound right by
itself then that was the plan and it 'me' sounded right by itself then that
was the go.

eg

Megan and I went to the park (I went to the park)

the cafe worker bought me and Megan our lunch. (the cafe worker bought me my
lunch)

That's the test I use but when I am feeling unsure ... it's amazing how you
can restructure a sentence to get ride of the 'me and x' clause!

Kathryn, on the spell check - I assume you have set the default language to
English UK? If you are running MS Word and outlook do it in word. If you are
running one of the many other products than I don't know!

storm, who did remedial spelling and grammar for years but now boasts she
has a grasp of the use of the apostrophe (or can restructure the sentence
out of needing to use one)
