I understood it as Ben and Justin being the prophets and they were in
her [Sophie's] house (i.e. the repeated prophecy of 'all the prophets
in her house') as lover and father.

Sophie was under the impression she was a 'puppet'. At first, a
puppet to her mom when she thought it was her mother doing the tarot
card readings, which her mother later corrected by saying it was
Sophie all along. It's like Sophie's now discovering how much control
she has over life and death, thus, the scene where it's emphasized
this is *her* house.

Aye, I was surprised by that... but at the same time, Star Trek has
on-going jokes about 'red shirts' being killed on away missions and
Jonesy was doing 'away missions'.

Now *that* I found WTF'ish and disappointing because each 'prophet'
had different skills. Anyway, I suspect this is the reason why
Sophie's mom tried to kill her daughter because she feared what Sophie
was capable of, if Sophie were to come into her powers--hence, the
longterm false nature of who had the power over seeing 'destiny' and
the cards.

Oz junkie. {g} I don't like Westerns, so never got into Deadwood.
After Oz concluded, I just followed Six Feet Under and Carnival, along
with the occasional America Undercover and... sexcapade specials. ;-)
