Geoff:
I was reminded of a line in one of my favourite books - "To Serve Them 
all my Days" which is about a schoolmaster in the West of England. He 
gets annoyed with another member of staff who manages to rub most 
people up the wrong way and another colleague comments: "Ignore the 
poopstick. We all do when we can."

I have posted a short reply to the site expressing dissatisfaction with 
his view....
