[HPFGU-OTChatter] Brit Speak: "Top Yourself"

In Australia to 'top yourself' is to kill yourself. Not what I would expect
a teacher to be encouraging.

Could someone explain to me "Go and top yourself"?

Personally, I would be more concerned by the teacher saying 'I don't
like nobodies'.
