Favorite books again

What did you recommend and did she accept? You have no idea how hard 
it can be to get teens to read! I'm flabbergasted a teenager would be 
interested in reading a classic, of all things. My daughter considers 
that even worse than Harry Potter!

I blame her dislike of reading on two things: she has ADHD and hates 
anything she has to sit still for. (except getting her hair colored) 
and the books she's been required to read in school have all been 
dreary, sad affairs that dealt with death.
