HI,
These abbreviations confused me a whole lot too.
ESE = Ever so evil
OFH = Out for himself
LID = Life in debted Snape
If you go to groups.yahoo.com/group/HPforGrownups & click on Database then on inish Alley all the acronyms are listed there.

Subject: [HPFGU-OTChatter] Abbreviations
Hi, I'm kind of new here; well, I joined HPfGU group a while ago, but
I wasn't active much, and now I wanted to read some posts there, and
I'm utterly confused by all the abbreviations... DDM -- I suppose must
stand for "Dumbledore's Man", but what about ESE, OFH and LID?
I didn't want to post to the list with such a newbie question, but I
thought maybe someone can help me out here?
