I think in Internet Explorer it's called Refresh. With Seamonkey, I
can right-click and get a menu with 'Reload' that does literally that,
it causes the current webpage to refresh or re-load, or I can click on
the Circular Arrow Icon in the Menu bar and accomplish the same thing.

Firefox and Seamonkey have a password manager that once programmed
will automatically enter your data to the text boxes when ever you
come to the log-in page. That's not exactly what you need but it might
help.
I know this can be done by some method because there are Yahoo Email
programs that will sign on and download all your email just like a POP
email account, but it is really just accessing the Yahoo Web
interface. Yahoo doesn't like it, but there is nothing they can do.
The point is, it is possible by some means to log-on in the
background, I just don't know what that means is.
