ACIDPOPS is listed in the Inish Alley database - that will at least
get you to the message where the acronym was unveiled, and it shoudn't
be too difficult to seach upthread or through messages in that date
range to find the post where the theory is spelled out in more detail. 

You can find Inish Alley in the group's database section, and I think
it is linked to from Hypothetic Alley too. 

(By the way, has anyone else noticed that the search function for
Yahoo Groups has been *greatly* improved recently? The advanced search
lets you specify date range, author, etc., too!)
