The two new cockatiels...
Lucky:

Sammy:

Pretty is the picky eater and very much a 'prima donna', Lucky eats
his food okay but is *very* active (plays and plays some more) and
burns it off, so he's skinny when I hold him, and Sammy... she likes
to eat and is the 'chubby' bird. Heh, I suppose being white also
isn't very 'slimming'. {chuckle} It's not too clear in Sammy's
picture but she has a fawn/brown pearled pattern on her back. Hm,
pictures are via a cell phone camera, meh. :-\ Still, they're cutie
pies to me.
It's kinda funny Lucky quickly learned how to say 'Pretty good girl'
after hearing Pretty say it, *but* she gets pissy at him and attacks
him. I separate them before they get hurt. Since they're both safe,
I can appreciate the humour of Lucky telling Pretty that she's a 'good
girl' after having a temper at him. {chuckle} Lucky is a masochist.
Pretty also picked up a Buddhist chant from my mom and even holds one
foot up in front to mimic the traditional prayer hand position as she
'chants'. Lucky also picked up chanting in a week from hearing Pretty
but he doesn't do the foot in the air... I've got two Buddhist birds.
