"Happy birthday, Severus Snape"

JKR's website is wishing Severus Snape a happy birthday, just as it
did last year. Of course, it could be programmed to do so, but as a
DDM!Snaper, I feared that she would remove the birthday wishes to
placate the people who regard Snape as a villain (traitor and
murderer). I know the question has been raised whether the birthday
wishes indicate that the character is good or at least redeemable or
merely alive and important or semi-important. (Draco was wished a
happy birthday last June; I'm guessing he will be again because Snape
was. Will he turn against Voldemort (as Snape, I believe, did long
ago)? Percy was wished a happy birthday in August. Will he return to
his family and be forgiven or at least die redeemed, saving Ron or one
of the twins from LV)? Does it mean they'll all survive Book 7 or only
that they're all alive now?
Thoughts, anybody?
Carol, wishing Snape a respite from the agonies of remorse for a day
since happiness is now impossible (I don't mean that he should stop
regretting his deed, only that he needs a little peace, a moment of
calm amid the torment, and the hope that Dumbledore, though
irretrievably dead, has forgiven him. That's the best birthday present
we, or JKR, could give DDM!Snape.)
