There are third-party services that can act as a go-between and buy
for other countries; however, that cute little knickknack that was the
equivalent of ~$5 then becomes ~$30.  Ouch... oh wait, I've got the

The disappointment.  Mmm, purr-ty.  Anyway, there are some nifty items
from various countries.  Frequently, the best bet is to find a
'friend' who can do favors.
