NOPE barney is in the SIMPSONS' cage....he's named after the belching 
drunk on the simpsons...because he was "rescued" after flying into a 
window and knocking himself out and after he was revived he flew into 
my daughters backpack at school....

I won't even get into what  happened after my daughter opened her 
backpack in the car on the way home..(after watching batman begins a 
few days before LOL)

Nope he's definitely a simpsons Barney...not the singing purple lizard 
LOL
