I'd also recommend AVG but I also have Norton, installed alongside
AVG, on one computer.  However, I have a subscription hack (one data
file replaces a valid install) that gave Norton an updates
expiration... gah, I forgot how long but it was *at least* twenty
years for my old Norton 2001--actually bought the OEM CD.  Kinda in a
situation where, if I had to pay, I wouldn't choose Norton again, but
'hey, "free" updates for now, so {shrugs} whatever'.
