Phone calls you shouldn't miss RE: building catching on fire

I'm not 'hooked' to my cell phone and only a few folk have the number,
so I sometimes have let the battery die or not check missed calls.

Err... My boss is in Greece until the end of July and one of the
shopping centers he manages, along with a business partner, caught
fire Sunday morning, a major fire that affected at least 5-7 stores
with smoke damage to the rest. The partner called my cell Sunday
morning and I missed the calls (dead cell), but I also heard it was in
the newspaper. I also have a call from the sheriff around 5:30a
Sunday on the office's voicemail about the fire. One business is the
centerpoint and we're making sure their liability insurance covers the
center's damage.

Um, whoops, on missing the call? Though, I'm not sure what assistance
I could've provided on a Sunday morning, especially when the center
was at least a twenty minute drive away.

That shopping center was the 'lowest on the totem pole' out of my
boss's portfolio and they were going to invest about half a million in
renovations. Wouldn't surprise me if a tenant may have 'encouraged'
the fire because they'd like to collect on insurance (i.e. cheap
tenants for an aging center).
