Yeah it's stupid but sometimes sighted people forget lights too.

I trained to be a radio announcer, and was for three years at a 
community station, I aimed for more but there were health problems.

Anyway I was in radio classes before this, and we'd be sitting there
in the evening as the sun was setting [evening classes].

and we'd be reading out papers and squinting away, pulling them closer
to our faces, when suddenly one would say "Oh, The lights!" and someone
would put the lights on and we'd all laugh because nobody thought about
it sooner.

Then again we all wanted to be in radio, so we were nuts to begin with. :)
