Maybe I might sound hard-hearted, but whatever happens makes no real dif to
me.  Sure, if Harry lives, we can imagine him becoming Minister of Magic or
Head Auror or whatever we want, having kids with Gini who grow up to become
Hogwarts teachers or aurors, etc.

If he dies, it makes for a tragic ending, but an ending nonetheless.  Jo
will have told his story and it will be a fiction classic for years to come.

Main characters die...even Bilbo and Frodo die, even if we don't actually
see it happen, but we know they do.  Death is a part of life.

Sure, I'd probably cry and grit my teeth if Harry dies, but then, I can go
back to the beginning of the series and read through the whole thing, or
move to a different series.

Like I say, I may sound harsh, but fiction is fiction and as much of a fan
of HP as I may be, I can accept whatever plan for the main character Jo has
in mind.
