bboyminn:

Thanks everyone.

If you are reading on-line in the group itself and you see...

bboyminn(a)...

then everything is OK. If on the other hand you are seeing...

bboyminn(a)yahoo.com

then we have a problem. It seems as if my full address is not shown,
so my mind is at ease now.

If you are reading using an email reader on your own computer, then,
for those receiving individual emails, seeing my email addres is
pretty normal However, I would like to make one request; don't read
your group emails using either MS-Outlook or MS-Outlook Express.
Nearly all the email viruses found exploit security flaws and
vulnerabilities in these two Microsoft programs.

Typically, a email virus will infect Outlook and start broadcasting
emails to everyone in your Address Book. In a sense, you computer has
now become a server for broadcasting either viruses or for
broadcasting advertising. Some of the advertising I am receiving could
be coming from your computer without you knowing it.

Mozilla Thunderbird is a much better choice, it's an excellent email
program, has SPAM filters, and is not subject to the same security
flaws found in Microsoft products. Also, it would help you keep your
Yahoo Group emails separate from you regular personal emails. Most
important of all IT'S FREE.

These an other fine products can be found at -

http://www.mozilla.org/
http://www.mozilla.org/products/
http://www.mozilla.org/download.html

Foxfire - is a compact easy to use stand-alone Web Browser. Much
better than MS-Internet Explorer. The best part - 'Tabbed Browsing',
when you open a new webpage, it opens in a new 'Tab' at the top of the
browser rather than in a new window.

Thunderbird - is a stand-alone email and newreader program. I use this
to keep my business emails separate from my personal emails. Very
effective, and rarely to never is it infect by a virus.

Mozilla - is an all-in-one integrated Browser/email/chat program very
similar to the old Netscape Browser. I use this for all my browsing,
and rarely ever have a problem with viruses. On rare occassion, I find
a webpage that doesn't load properly, but that is maybe 1 in 100. An
excellent program. It also has a very effective Pop-Up blocker.

Note that Foxfire and Thunderbird are the preferred programs with the
most up-to-date technology. Mozilla integrated suite is still kept
around for those who prefer an all-in-one.

Thanks again for the help.
