Combining topics. First part is on what little I know about MP3
players and second part is a new interest in the WB TV series,
Supernatural.

I've heard mostly good things about the Creative [Zen] line and their
durability and affordability. However, they aren't Mac compatible,
unless you install this unofficial freeware program:
http://www.wentnet.com/projects/xnjb/
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EA6WOE/102-2497247-1659314?n=172282
The above is a Creative Zen 20gig multimedia. It's originally priced
at ~$280 but it's now ~$160 with free shipping, figuring in a
rebate--no taxes. Nifty thing about Amazon.com is that, if the price
drops (standard is thirty days from purchase but some have tried this
months later, including myself), Amazon will price match its lower
amount and refund you the difference.
Sorry I can't help out on this topic a bit more. I don't own an MP3
player... or at least a working one. :-( I got this generic 128meg
thingie for $5 as a knick-knack and it briefly worked but now it's
just a small flash drive because it won't 'play' music. Where are my
minions that will buy me an iPod?!! {chuckle}
As to why I combined posts, I tried watching Veronica Mars and the
series didn't catch my interest but that's normal for me. I usually
don't get interested in a series/fandom until a second or more pass.
For example, I just recently got interested in Supernatural. Since
I'm kinda in a so-so stage for Smallville, I left the TV station on WB
and there was Supernatural, which I skipped the first time around.
Reminded me of how I used to watch Friday the 13th, the Series--Micki
looked like such a slut. {g} Mystery/suspense has always appealed to
me. Smallville was 3-4 passes... Harry Potter was also multiple
passes. ;-)
