What do you mean by "Japan website"? Do you have a URL?

  Thanks.

First there is a place to get HP things for adults. Robes, hats and
so on. Order of Merlin at www.orderofmerlin.com has custom make
robes. They have official McGonagall, DD, hats too. I have a robe
from there and I love it.

Also the place to get the really cool HP stuff is, I am sorry to
say, Japan. It seems that the HP market over there is very hot. I
went to the Japan website a year ago and tried to buy somethings
just by looking at the pictures because I could not read anything.
But when I put in my address I got a note that they can not ship to
the U.S.

Finally I did get one of the items that I wanted for 3x the price on
e-bay. There is a guy from Japan that gets the stuff and sells it
on e-bay. I have a small Quidditch chest with the beater, bludger,
snitch, etc. It is really a jewelry box. And very nice. Well made.

About a year ago I did call a contact that I had at WB and he told
me all about the Japanese market. I said "well the adults in the
U.S. want this stuff too!". They even sell all of these really cool
things at the theaters when the movies comes out, which they don't
do here. Part of the contract with the U.S. theaters is they will
pull the films if they sell anything in the lobbies. I know some
places get away with doing that anyway, but they would be in trouble
with WB if caught.

I was collecting everything that I could, including the action
figures. I was disappointed that there wasn't any for the last
movie. There were a lot of companies that made stuff early on, but I
think the licensing prices got a bit high and a lot of companies let
their licenses go. Maybe if WB didn't charge so much for the license
there would be more merchandise.

I think that there might be a big push next year with a movie and
the last book ocming out. But after that I don't expect much in the
way of new items. The merchandise is tied to the movie releases, not
to the books, but even so, I expect it to dry up pretty soon.
