What I have done is found a gothic forum, which lucky for me
is Melbourne based.

And I have asked about clothing which looks like clothing
worn in the world of Harry Potter [except his pre-Hogwarts
bit, I'm sure k-mart would cover that].

Now, although you can't post unless you join... you can
at least follow the thread on:

Now, this *might* lead somewhere,
there are gothic shops in Melbourne where I can go,
and potentially meet some of the people who might suggest options.

So, we shall see.
