Wow thanks for the explanation and the letter. It's really great to have some one who doesn't mind describing some thing like that to you.

I would like to read that letter and If at all possible I'd like to
write to J K Rowling myself.

Hopefully Sarah won't mind since she has actually posted the letter,
but I will give a visual description of the letter for those who are
using text readers. If Sarah truly does object, email me and I will
remove this post.

---------------------

Top of the Letter:

Large Signature by J. K. Rowlings.

A small monochromatic owl centered on the page.

It appears that the signature and owl are part of the Letterhead.

To the right, above the body of the letter is a hand written date:

19th May 2006

Body of the Letter:

Dear Sarah,

Thank you so much for your wonderful letter, which made my morning!
Feel free to wander in and out of my universe as much as you like.
That's what it's for!

(note: personal section of the letter is blanked out)

Can't tell you anything about Snape except that You Will Find Out.

(note: the first letter of each word of 'You Will Find Out' is
capitalized)

Long may you stay strong, sane and beautifully healthy, and thank you
again for writing.

(note: the last word is a little unclear, but 'writing' seems to make
sense)

End of the Letter:

Best Wishes,

Hand Written Signature:

J. K. Rowling (Jo!)

(note: the signature consists of J. K. Rowling followed by Joe in
parenthesis with an exclaimation point. I'm not really sure how a text
reader handles parenthesis.)

The letter then closes with J. K. Rowling typed under the signature.

It is a very short, but none the less, touching letter.
