Snipity snip(still chuckling at my most recent typo--sorry had to
mention it)

Luckdragon now: cursing Ferrero for making something that sounds so
> good but is so deadly. I'm deathly allergic to hazelnut and all
> treenuts. Nutella is sold in most grocery stores here in Ontario
> Canada, but obviously I've never tried it.

Doddie here:

Chin up...my son is not only allergic to all tree nuts( including
coconuts)...but is also alergic to chocolate...and NON-tree nuts(i.e.
peanuts, sunflower seeds/sunflower oils, cottonseeds/cottonseed oil,
peanuts...if you take a good gander at indgredients you will find my
son to be allergic to 90 percent of all chips/crisps, cannot ever
order french fries because of the oils they may use, can never have a
sesame seed bun because he allergic to the seeds...also....can never
eat chinese from a chinese restaurant whose pots/pans/utensils/foods
etc. ever came into contact with sesame seed or peanut oils...

My son's allergic reaction is anaphylaxis....(where in the throat
closes due to sweeling and it becomes impossible to breathe)

My son's most deadly allergic reaction is to red dye #40...

I almost lost him this week after I took him to the dentist for a
tooth cleaning where they polished his teeth with a red-colored-
strawberry flavored tooth polish... *heavy sigh*

Red dye 40 is impossible to skin scratch for...so when we tell the
professionals they do not believe it....

It's sad really when you consider the most popular meds containing red
dye 40 are tylenol(the words on the tablet) and ibuprofin(the coating
on the tablet)...

Doddie
(who knows Nutella is a choco/hazelnut "peanut butter" that she must
keep far, far from home...but has mad cravings for honey, bananna, and
nutella sanwiches...mmmmm hazel nuts!)
