It's not an Easter egg - it's a bug.

Notepad reacts oddly to certain small text files with words of certain lengths in a pattern - and 
this happens to fit the pattern.

This app can break

also does it, because it fits the same pattern.

4-letter-word 3-letter-word 3-letter-word 5-letter-word

It doesn't happen with every sentence that fits the pattern, but it does with quite a few.
