I wouldn't say that I am a computer expert, but I do consider myself a computer geek. :O)
I went and bought a computer at a well known store and had nothing but problems with it from the day I brought it home. It was the top of the line computer at the time I purchased it and cost over $2,200.
I have since gotten rid of that computer and purchased a Dell computer, on-line, in December. It was the best thing I have ever done. You can chose what system, programs and feature you want. You can also choose the size and type of monitor (flat screen or regular) that you want, as well as different keyboards. They also give you an option of paying it off month by month, with as little as $18 a month as a payment. I got one of the higher priced systems, a 19inch flat panel monitor, upgraded keyboard and mouse and a CD burner and it cost me less than $1,100.
Their customer service is excellent and I have not had a problem with the system or dealing with Dell. I use a Dell computer at work as well, and my mom and sister both have one. I highly recommend them.
