Doddie here:

Of course I know all about internal seeds, as does my son.(after a
trip to the ER due to his chewing on bird seed *sigh*)

I think some of the worse of the cause of his anaphalaxis over the
years has been:

1. eating chickens who have been raised on eating sunflower seeds...

2. eating honey from bees that have pollinated a nut or seed
orchard..

3. eating regular foods (like bread/milk/eggs/cheese that have red
dye #40)...Sad, really, seeing as red dye is derived from insects
95% of the time. This just discusts me as beets can supply quite the
spectrums of "red"...yet business world chooses "insect dye"
over "vegetable dye" ...*heavy sigh*

And finally, just to answer your question yes he has eaten
watermelon....but only the watermelon I serve him...without seeds!
and yes, he knows what I serve him, and how and why..

Doddie
(who could write a book on this subject that would be longer than
GOF and OOP combined! LOL)
