Will HBP overly influence the OoP film?

Maybe this post belongs on the movie list, but I don't know anybody over
there and feel more at home here. Does anyone think that events in HBP
will influence the characterizations (particularly of Snape) in the
OoP film? HBP is in effect the first half of a two-volume book, and on
a first reading or a superficial reading, Snape appears out-and-out
evil, whereas with a closer reading, he's at the least ambiguous. I'm
pretty sure that Steve Kloves sees Snape as DDM (he certainly appeared
that way in the PoA and GoF films), but the screenwriter for OoP may
have a different view. Does anyone besides me fear that events in HBP
could distort or otherwise unduly influence the writing of the OoP
movie? (I have a little more confidence in Alan Rickman, who refuses
to talk about "Severus," as he calls Snape. I think possibly JKR has
filled
him in with regard to Snape's true loyalties. But that won't be the
case with this new writer.) Obviously I'm a DDM!Snaper, or I wouldn't
be worried about him.
Carol, who would also be worried about the HBP film, but IIRC it will
come out a year or so after Book 7
