Just came from seeing 'Driving Lessons' in Minneapolis.
Actually, I saw it twice, once at 2:30 and once at 4:30.
I thought was a very good movie, though I admit it was
hard for Rupert to shine along side Julie Walters. Still
he gave a very good performance, and far outshined
anything he has ever been allowed to do in Harry Potter.

To some extent his character is introverted and repressed,
so that somewhat inhibited his general performance, but he
/did/ capture the character of Ben very accurately. When
he was call on to be repressed inhibited, he did so very
nicely, and when he was called on for more emotional
moments, again, he was well up to the task.

I've notice in both his HP role and his role of Ben in
this movie, that his performances are very subtle; tiny
things that he does that bring real life to his
character.

Anyway, I recommend it for anyone who wants a very
pleasant way to spend an afternoon or evening.
