To check for a theater near you, go to the Landmark Theater
website and select assorted cities on the left.

I'm pretty sure I did see 'Harold and Maude' in the theater
many years ago when it was first release and I was just a
young pup. If I remember right Robbie Benson played 'Harold'.
I'm told the book was much racier than the movie. The was a
very tender love story, and yes, it was funny.
For the record, I drove 110 miles (220 round trip) to see
the movie, though I justified it by claiming to have other
business that also needed to be taken care of. I tried to
talk my brother into going but he was commited to helping
my sister with the local Church lutefisk supper/dinner.
Could we possibly be any more small town Scandinavian?

PS: does everyone know what lutefisk is? We have had long
deep discussion of it here before. It is either a traditional
Scandinavian delicacy or a punishment, depending on your
perspective.
